"Embracing the Great Spirit: Finding Strength and Wisdom in Nature & Within”

I’ve always felt a strong connection with the Native Americans and The Great Spirit, also known as Wakan Tanka among the Sioux. The Divine is a central concept in the spiritual beliefs of many Native American tribes. To the Native Americans, the Great Spirit is not just a deity but a force that permeates all of creation.

The Native Americans saw the Great Spirit in everything, from the smallest blade of grass to the tallest mountain. They believed that all living things, including animals, plants, and even the earth itself, were sacred and deserving of respect. This deep reverence for nature was at the heart of their spiritual beliefs.

The Great Spirit was also seen as a powerful force that could be invoked for guidance and protection. Many tribes had specific rituals and ceremonies that were performed to honor and connect with the Great Spirit. Through these rituals, individuals and communities sought to align themselves with the natural world and the powerful forces that governed it.

For the Native Americans, the Great Spirit or what some may call God, was not just a distant deity, but a living, breathing presence that could be felt in every aspect of life. By connecting with the Great Spirit, they believed they could tap into a powerful source of strength and wisdom to guide them through even the most difficult challenges.

In today's society and cultures, we could all take a leaf from the Native American's book and take the time to connect with the Great Spirit and nature. Through mindfulness and respect for others and nature, we can tap into a source of inner strength and wisdom that can help us navigate the twists and turns of our modern world and to manifest the life we envision.

The Great Spirit is a powerful force that is seen as present in all living things, including nature. The belief in this Pure Consciousness or Ultimate Spirit teaches us the importance of respecting and connecting with nature and aligning ourselves from within. By embracing these teachings, we can tap into a powerful source of inner strength and wisdom to guide us through life.
